American Heart Association
The IHIMF Training Center is dedicated to spreading the American Heart Association mission throughout Western Montana. We offer quality training to individuals, professionals, and healthcare providers.
Bystander vs. Lifesaver:
Preparation Makes the Difference
If you witness a medical emergency, will you be prepared to respond? Be ready to deliver lifesaving care with courses from the American Heart Association (AHA). The mission of the AHA is to build healthier lives, free of cardiovascular diseases and stroke.
The links in the Chain of Survival are interventions that will improve the outcomes for victims of cardiac and respiratory emergencies and stroke. The Chain of Survival is: Early Access (911). Early CPR. Early Defibrillation. Early Advance Life Support.
The International Heart Institute of Montana Foundation, in partnership with Saint Patrick Hospital, is one of the approximately 3,500 AHA Community Training Centers in the country. We are here to strengthen the Chain of Survival. You may be the vital link in the chain for someone you love.
CPR Saves Lives. Immediate CPR can double, or even triple, a victim’s chance of survival!
